Bump Health is expanding! As we continue to grow our Durable Medical Equipment (DME) division in Massachusetts, we are looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional to join our team.

Position Summary
The Insurance Verification / Patient Care Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring patients receive medically necessary equipment by accurately verifying insurance benefits, communicating with healthcare providers and patients, and maintaining detailed documentation throughout the order process.
This position requires someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with multiple computer systems, and able to prioritize competing responsibilities while maintaining exceptional accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Verify commercial insurance and Medicaid benefits.
- Review insurance eligibility, authorizations, and coverage requirements.
- Communicate with physician offices, referral sources, patients, and insurance companies as needed.
- Enter and maintain patient information in Brightree and other computer systems.
- Document all communications accurately and thoroughly.
- Process patient orders while meeting quality and productivity expectations.
- Resolve insurance and documentation issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to support operational goals and improve workflows.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the patient experience.
QualificationsRequired
- Medical insurance verification experience.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail.
Preferred
- Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience.
- Brightree experience.
- Medical office, billing, intake, or customer service experience.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
