Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Engage children in activities that promote literacy education, math skills, and overall cognitive development.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and share best practices.
- Provide care for toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
- Proven ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively while promoting positive behavior among students.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
