Bumblebee Pediatric Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. We are looking for someone passionate about helping children reach their full potential in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Position Details:
- Position: Pediatric Occupational Therapist
- Employment Type: W-2 Hourly first year, opportunity to move to W2 Salary in second year
- Reports to: Clinical Lead
- Experience Required: 3-5 years of outpatient or private practice experience with children aged 1-18 years
- Work Settings: In-home, in-clinic, or in-school, depending on what is most appropriate to meet clinical and family goals
Key Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Provide direct therapy services through assessments, treatment planning, and intervention in-home, in-clinic, or in-school.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including session notes, evaluations, and treatment plans, within department timelines.
- Communicate with families regularly, providing updates and ensuring collaborative goal-setting.
- Coordinate care with other therapists and providers to support a multidisciplinary approach.
- Engage in professional development by staying informed on best practices and seeking mentorship when needed.
- Maintain licensure: clinician must maintain current license in the District of Columbia and Virginia, Maryland is a plus.
Expectations & Duties:
- Maintain caseload of 20-25 billable hours per week
- Complete clinical documentation.
- Submit treatment plans and evaluations within department-designated time frames.
- Participate in monthly “Work Days” aimed at professional and business development while maintaining an active caseload.
