Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to meet high standards of cleanliness
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygienic environments
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with attention to detail
- Clean floors using various techniques including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care equipment to maintain pristine surfaces
- Manage outdoor work responsibilities such as patio or porch cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance when required
- Use manual handling techniques safely for heavy lifting of furniture or appliances during deep cleaning or move-in/move-out services
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service throughout each appointment
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial or custodial roles preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, equipment, detergents, and sanitation standards necessary for effective housekeeping
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled appointments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle outdoor work environments comfortably
- Excellent client communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and address any special requests
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning, floor care techniques, and hotel or hospitality housekeeping practices advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures while maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance
