Paramedic or Licensed Paramedic (Firefighter Trainee Required)

Bulverde Spring Branch FireEMS is currently accepting applications to fill Full-Time ParamedicLicensed Paramedic positions.

Position Requirements:

Paramedic hires must obtain TCFP Basic Structural Firefighter certification within eighteen (18) months of hire as a condition of continued employment.

• Certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services as a Paramedic or licensed Paramedic. National Registry is not sufficient.
• Minimum of Class B Exempt driver license, or the ability to obtain one within the first 12 months of employment.
• No history of felony convictions, convictions of family violence, or crimes of moral turpitude.
• No DWI, DUI, or drug-related offenses within the last 10 years of application date.

To advance in the hiring process, each candidate must pass the Physical Agility Test (PAT), video-based entry-level Fire Team test, pre-employment backgrounddriving record check, and physical and drug screening.

Applicants Must Submit:

• Completed Department application.
• Copy of Paramedic certification with the Texas Department of State Health Services.
• Copy of a valid Class C (or greater) driver license.
