What are the responsibilities and job description for the Winery Retail Sales Associate position at Bully Hill Vineyards?
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join Bully Hill Vineyards for the 2026 season! If you enjoy wine and can work independently and as part of a team, we would like to meet you. You should be outgoing, attentive, punctual, and able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, from greeting customers to educating customers regarding wines
- Create and manage product displays and maintain appealing visual merchandising
- Conduct wine tastings and winery tours
- Restock shelves
- Maintain and manage inventory
- Maintain store cleanliness
- Additional responsibilities may be required, including but not limited to working in the Gift Shop, Art Gallery, and/or Restaurant as needed
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Experience working in a retail environment
- Wine knowledge (preferred but not necessary)
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Passionate about working with people
- Work well in high-volume/fast-paced environment
- Work well independently as well as with a team

This is an entry-level position and a great opportunity to join our Tasting Room and Wine Shop team and be the friendly face that helps guests take a piece of their experience home. As part of our team, you'll build customer service skills, learn about wine and merchandising, and gain valuable experience in sales and guest management.
Bully Hill Vineyards is a family-owned winery nestled in the hills overlooking beautiful Keuka Lake. Located 3 miles north of the historic village of Hammondsport. Bully Hill is an eclectic winery sprawled out over several acres. The campus includes a Tasting Room, Wine Shop, Restaurant, Gift Shop, Art Gallery, and Wine Museum.
