What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gardener position at Bully Hill Vineyards?
We are seeking a dedicated Gardener to join our team for the season. This role is responsible for maintaining the grounds of our facilities to ensure they are safe, well-kept, and visually appealing for all visitors. This is a seasonal position lasting approximately six months.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general groundskeeping and landscaping duties
- Trim shrubs and trees and maintain landscaped areas
- Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently
- Water and irrigate plants and grass as needed
- Keep outdoor walkways clear, clean, and safe for visitors
- Assist with landscape maintenance and improvement projects as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques and general landscape maintenance
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and power equipment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure grounds are consistently well-maintained
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- General understanding of landscape maintenance best practices
