Multifamily Asset Manager – Bridge Lending
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
We’re partnered with a leading national commercial real estate finance platform seeking a Multifamily Asset Manager to join its Bridge Portfolio Lending Group. This team manages a large, fast-moving portfolio of transitional multifamily loans and plays a critical role in monitoring performance, assessing risk, and supporting borrowers through the full loan lifecycle.
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with strong credit instincts, deep multifamily knowledge, and the ability to manage complex assets with urgency, accuracy, and sound judgment—all within a high-performing NYC-based team.
What You’ll Do
• Oversee a portfolio of performing and watchlist multifamily loans within a large bridge/mezzanine lending platform.
• Monitor asset and borrower performance, including covenant compliance, financial reporting, risk ratings, and operating trends.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external parties.
• Identify emerging risks, credit weaknesses, or performance issues—and collaborate with borrowers, property managers, and internal teams to create solutions.
• Develop action plans and recommendations for underperforming assets for senior leadership review.
• Review financial statements, gather operating data, and complete detailed analysis to assess loan and property performance.
• Conduct or oversee property site inspections as needed.
• Support routine borrower consent requests across the assigned portfolio.
• Prepare periodic reporting for internal teams, co-investors, warehouse providers, and industry groups.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners including Finance, Legal, Accounting, and Loan Servicing.
• Participate in special projects and assist leadership with strategic initiatives.
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in real estate lending, credit, or asset management.
• Strong understanding of multifamily assets, operating performance, and loan structures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• High sense of urgency, intellectual honesty, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to take ownership, operate with minimal oversight, and consistently produce high-quality work.

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
