As our Steel Fabrication Production Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of all production machines, ensuring maximum efficiency, high-quality output, and strict adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader capable of optimizing workflows, managing costs, and motivating staff to meet or exceed production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning: Develop and execute daily/weekly production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor, analyze, and optimize production processes to reduce waste and improve productivity.
- Leadership: Direct, train, and mentor production personnel to ensure peak performance.
- Quality & Safety: Maintain strict quality control standards and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations (FIFO/FEFO).
- Resource Management: Oversee inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods, working with vendors and warehouse staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with technical college or college studies preferred.
- 3 years of proven experience in managerial and or supervision or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production procedures, quality control, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in ERP software and MS Office.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Pay: $37,500.00 - $47,500.00 per year
