The Armed Security Guard will be responsible for providing security services in a commercial environment, working 8-hour shifts. This role requires moderate interaction with the public and the authorized carry of a firearm. The guard will ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and visitors by maintaining vigilant access control, conducting regular patrols, and responding promptly to incidents.
Responsibilities
- Control and monitor access points to prevent unauthorized entry
- Conduct routine patrols of the assigned commercial premises
- Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents and emergencies
- Operate surveillance equipment and/or radio to maintain situational awareness
- Assess risks and identify potential security vulnerabilities
- Monitor security equipment functionality and report malfunctions
- Interact professionally with customers and visitors to provide assistance
Required Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee Armed Guard License
