Our progressive, family owned veterinary hospital located in the vibrant city of Stamford, CT provides comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care to dogs, cats and exotic pets.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in patient care & multitasking
- Ability to communicate to clients clearly
- Able to insert IV catheters, intubate pets and calculate drug doses, etc.
- Administer anesthesia/surgical monitoring
- Ability to maintain medical equipment
- Perform dental procedures
- Knowledge of medications and dosing
- Maintain accurate medical records requiring data entry into database
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a recent graduate from an accredited Vet Tech program or have two years or more of Vet Tech experience
- AVImark experience a plus!
- Weekend and holiday availability
Compensation starts at $25/hour (pay will be based on experience), and reviewed after three months of employment.
