About the Role
We are hiring a skilled Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment across our production facility. You will keep our manufacturing lines running safely and efficiently by diagnosing electrical faults, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement on the plant floor.
What You'll Do
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, controls, motors, drives, conduit, and lighting
- Troubleshoot faults in production machinery, PLCs, control panels, sensors, and instrumentation to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, ladder logic, and equipment manuals
- Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance
- Wire and connect new equipment, machinery, and automation systems during installs and upgrades
- Test systems using multimeters, megohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools
- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns to restore production
- Support PLC programming changes, VFD configuration, and control system modifications
- Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records (CMMS)
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and NFPA 70E, including lockout/tagout (LOTO)
What You Bring (Required)
- High school diploma or GED; completed apprenticeship or accredited electrical program
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent
- 3 years of electrical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Working knowledge of single- and three-phase power up to 480V
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Siemens), VFDs, motor controls, and automation
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA standards
Nice to Have (Preferred)
- Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field
- PLC programming and HMI experience
- Experience with robotics, conveyor systems, or packaging equipment
- Familiarity with CMMS software
- Arc-flash training or Certified Electrical Safety Worker credential
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs; stand, bend, kneel, or climb for extended periods
- Comfortable at heights, in confined spaces, and around moving machinery
- Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, or on-call as needed
- Manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and temperature variation
Pay: From $38.00 per hour
