Business Development Executive

Bulk Environmental & Industrial is a fast-growing leading professional transportation and logistics services company providing long-haul transportation, collection, and loading of waste and other materials.

JOB SUMMARY:

A Business Development Executive helps facilitate growth opportunities for companies and their strategic partners. They create business development strategies to support the success of the company and help it achieve its organizational goals while increasing its revenue.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursuing leads and constructing agreements.

· Assess the company's target market and industry and develop strategies to gain new clients.

· Collaborate with various teams/departments to ensure that they meet all client requirements.

· Identify new prospects within the industry and prepare detailed sales presentations.

· Develop and maintain client relationships

· Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders

· Gather useful information from customer and competitor data

· Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business

· Track and report on the status of proposal components

· Conduct ongoing market research

· Work with the finance department to create rate proposals

· Prepare and submit sales contracts

REQUIREMENTS:

· Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales

· Impeccable verbal and written communication skills

· Familiarity with the industry including equipment, logistics and supply-chain management

· Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions

· Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software

· Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients

Physical Demands

This position is considered to be mostly sedentary and will require the employee to sit for extended periods of time. It will also require the employee to occasionally stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. They may engage in bending, stretching, reaching, and other motions in the course of a working day. They will be engaged in using office equipment and computers. They may engage in lifting supplies and materials up to 20 pounds from time to time. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, and hear.

Working Conditions

This job is located primarily in an indoor office environment with varying noise levels. There may be varying degrees of temperature. The employee may be interrupted from time to time.
