Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to perform excavation, grading, trenching, and pipe installation tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications
- Utilize pipe lasers and utility locating tools to ensure precise pipe placement and alignment
- Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks to prepare foundations for pipelines or structures
- Conduct welding and other fabrication activities as needed for pipe connections or structural support
- Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment before use, adhering to site safety protocols, and reporting hazards promptly
- Support pipeline installation efforts by coordinating with plumbing, oil & gas teams, and other trades on-site
Experience
- Must Have TopCon GPS Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and forklifts in construction environments
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for construction projects
- Familiarity with concrete finishing techniques and concrete forming processes
- Experience with utility locating tools like pipe lasers and knowledge of pipeline installation procedures
- Hands-on experience in construction site activities related to plumbing or oil & gas infrastructure is highly desirable
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety and productivity standards
- Prior experience in construction or utility projects involving pipeline or infrastructure development is preferred
- Must Have 2 years Experience Minimum
