Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Facility Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for cleaning office areas, locker rooms, break rooms, restrooms, and production-related spaces where grease, dirt, and heavy industrial debris may be present.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong time management skills, and take pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, break rooms, and office spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust designated areas.
- Empty trash containers throughout the facility.
- Clean floors and surfaces exposed to grease, dirt, and manufacturing debris.
- Replenish restroom and break room supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized manner.
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow company safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to work around grease, dirt, dust, and industrial work environments.
- Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (20 hours per week)
