Electrical Technician

The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for the planning, development, installation, connection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment and electrical systems. Maintenance personnel must be able to work in different environments, problem solve, and use tools and equipment appropriate for each job. Work will vary from day to day depending upon the needs of the plant to maintain production. The Electrician must be self-motivated, able to complete jobs in a timely manner and must be able to work productively with other employees.
Qualifications:Job Specifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2-years work experience as an industrial electrician or an Industrial Technology Certificate or an associate degree in Industrial Electrical Technology or a Journeyman’s Card as an Industrial Electrician.
- All selected candidates will be required to pass a written, standardized mechanical test.
- Shifts are 12-hours and work weeks alternate between 36 and 48-hours.
- Compensation is based on aptitude and experience.
