About the Role
We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site operations for our diverse portfolio in St. Petersburg. You will be the "boots on the ground" leader responsible for ensuring that our new builds, large-scale remodels, and multifamily projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to our exacting quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Management: Direct all daily field operations, including the coordination of subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Scheduling: Maintain master project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met and proactively resolving potential delays.
- Quality Control: Conduct rigorous inspections throughout all phases of construction (foundation to finish) to ensure work meets Florida Building Code and company standards.
- Safety Leadership: Enforce strict OSHA compliance and job site safety protocols at all times.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and photo documentation using project management software.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for architects, engineers, city inspectors, and clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Construction Superintendent, specifically with experience in multifamily residential and ground-up new construction.
- Local Knowledge: Deep familiarity with St. Petersburg/Pinellas County permitting processes and Florida-specific building requirements (high-velocity hurricane zones).
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, structural drawings, and MEP plans.
- Leadership: Strong track record of managing diverse subcontractor crews and maintaining high morale on-site.
- Adaptability: Experience switching gears between the precision of high-end remodels and the scale of multifamily developments.
