Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship and ensuring project success from start to finish. Duties
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements
- Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, siding installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation with precision
- Assist with concrete forming, masonry work, roofing, and water damage restoration projects as needed
- Handle heavy lifting and material transportation using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Conduct demolition, plastering, caulking, stucco application, and construction painting tasks to prepare sites for finishing
- Support remodeling efforts by installing flooring, tiles, metal studs, drywall, and other building materials while adhering to safety standards
Experience
- Prior construction experience in residential or commercial settings is highly preferred
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is essential for accurate project execution
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and working with construction plans is a plus
- Hands-on experience with wood construction materials, rebar installation, CNC fabrication, and mold remediation is advantageous
- Understanding of power tool safety protocols and proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools for woodworking is required
- Experience in restoration industry tasks such as water damage remediation or structural repairs will be considered an asset
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout all phases of construction projects
