Shop Laborer/Truss Production Worker
We’re hiring dependable shop laborers to help manufacture wood roof and floor trusses. This is a hands-on job involving physical work, material handling, and shop production.
Location: 1370 NJ-23 S, Wantage, NJ 07461
Pay: Starting at $20/hour to $25/hour, depending on experience and capabilities
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM, with optional overtime during busy periods
Responsibilities:
- Assist with assembling wood trusses.
- Move, sort and stack lumber and finished materials.
- Help load and unload materials and prepare orders for delivery.
- Use hand and power tools as trained and directed.
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow instructions from the shop supervisor and assist with daily production tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying materials, with reasonable accommodation as needed.
- Willingness to learn, follow safety procedures, and work with a team.
- Construction, carpentry, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is a plus.
