Job Title: Receiving Clerk
Location: Built Bar – American Fork, Utah
Shift: Day shift (7:30 AM to 4:00 PM)
Pay: $18.00 to $22.00 an hour
Position Summary
Built Bar is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for verifying, recording, and organizing incoming shipments of raw materials, packaging, and supplies to support production operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring food safety standards, and supporting smooth production flow.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance with purchase orders.
Unload deliveries and stage materials for storage or production.
Record receipts in the inventory management system (ERP/WMS).
Label, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse areas following 5S principles.
Communicate with purchasing and quality departments regarding discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date receiving logs and documentation.
Ensure materials meet food safety, GMP, and company quality standards.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
Support cycle counts, physical inventory, and warehouse audits.
Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant warehouse environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of warehouse or receiving experience, preferably in food or manufacturing.
Basic computer skills; experience with ERP or inventory systems preferred.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with good communication skills.
