Architectural Drafter (Min. 5 Years Experience)

Pay: $27 - $37 per hour. Could lead to a full-time position.

BuildLabs is seeking a highly skilled Architectural Drafter with at least five years of experience to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on residential and commercial projects, creating technical drawings and 3D models from architectural sketches.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed technical drawings from architectural sketches and specifications.
• Utilize Revit and CAD software to create precise construction documents that meet building codes and regulations.
• Integrate drawings into Building Information Modeling (BIM) systems to generate 3D models and renderings.
• Analyze building specifications, codes, and site conditions to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Maintain drawing standards and adhere to company CAD/BIM protocols.
• Revise drawings based on client feedback, field reports, or changes in design direction.
• Visit project sites as needed to take measurements and verify dimensions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, codes, and design technologies.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural drafting or design.
• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Revit and CAD software or similar architectural drafting software is required.
• Strong knowledge of building design, specifications, codes, and structural analysis.
• Familiarity with structural drawings and coordination with MEP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, mathematical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
