At Building Waters Inc., we’re looking for a skilled carpenter to join our team. The ideal

candidate will have experience working with a variety of tools and materials, and be

able to read blueprints and follow instructions. They should be able to work

independently, as well as part of a team, and have a keen eye for detail. If you’re

Responsibilities

-Build and install structures such as partitions, walls, roofs, and decks, using various materials including wood, steel, and concrete.

-Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.

-Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, or hardware, such as locks, hinges, and handles.

-Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.

-Experience with drywall, tile work and Fencing.

-Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and architects to ensure project success

-Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment

-Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations

-Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of time and materials used

-Attend training sessions and workshops to stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques

Qualifications:

-Proficient in carpentry techniques and the use of hand and power tools

-5 years experience preferred

-Valid Driver's License - Required

-Strong knowledge and understanding of general remodel carpentry and techniques with a willingness to work in all phases of a remodel, from demo to finish phase.
