General Cleaner NIGHT JANITOR CLACKAMAS

Hello! We have an exciting opportunity available immediately for a motivated candidate with previous cleaning experience. This is at a client facility next to Clackamas Costco. You must be a US Citizen or permanent resident with authorization to work in the US, in order to gain access to this facility however. So if you are not a US Citizen or authorized to work in US, this position will not work at this time. Must have birth certificate, US Passport, Naturalization Certificate or work authorization documentation. Schedule is Sundays from 1pm to 930pm and Monday’s-Thursdays from 4pm to 1230am, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. position does require some heavy lifting of 20-25 pounds nightly To live trash, supplies, equipment, etc. This is a long term, permanent opening and we are looking for someone willing to start work ASAP. Successful applicants will have reliable transportation to get to and from work as this location is not really close to a bus or max line and work hours may not be best for public transportation. A birth certificate or passport will also be needed to get client ID for access to the facility prior to starting work, but we may be able to assist in obtaining your birth certificate if you do not have a copy on hand..it will just slow the hiring process by a couple of days for shipping.

Job Summary
Join our dedicated night cleaning team as a Night Janitor in Clackamas! As a Night Janitor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of a commercial/industrial, facility during overnight hours. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure our clients’ environment is spotless and well-maintained, supporting their operations and overall safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, and mops
• Conduct detailed custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and surface sanitization to uphold hygiene standards
• Operate vacuum to clean carpeting
• Maintain supplies by restocking cleaning products and notifying management when inventory runs low
• Follow safety procedures diligently to ensure a secure work environment during night shifts
• Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to facilities management
• Ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently while adhering to company quality standards

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures
• Knowledge of commercial janitorial skills is greatly helpful
• Familiarity with custodial tools and cleaning chemicals for effective sanitation
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift heavy supplies as needed
