Position Summary:

As a Technical Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation, integration, and optimization of technical systems that support the 32BJ Health Fund’s mission of delivering high-quality and cost-effective healthcare to our members. This position requires a strong foundation in SQL, expertise in system integrations, particularly with CRM platforms—and a passion for solving complex technical challenges through data and system design. The Technical Systems Analyst will work closely with internal teams and external partners to analyze, plan, and execute system solutions that improve operational efficiency. You will lead and be responsible for the integration of CRM platforms with other enterprise systems, ensure data quality and interoperability, and support ongoing technical needs including documentation, testing, and troubleshooting. This is a highly collaborative role that requires both technical depth and cross-functional communication.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze system architecture and business requirements to design, implement, and maintain integration solutions between CRM and other enterprise systems.
• Write, test, and optimize complex SQL queries to support reporting, data validation, and system performance monitoring.
• Manage system interfaces and APIs to ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with vendors or developers for resolution.
• Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications and system design documents.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to document workflows, data flows, and integration points using industry-standard tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart ).
• Conduct system testing including unit, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure functionality and performance requirements are met.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation including data dictionaries, integration schemas, technical user guides, and support logs.
• Support data governance initiatives by ensuring data integrity, standardization, and security across systems.
• Provide technical assistance and training to end-users and stakeholders on new system features and processes.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in systems analysis, technical implementation, or integration work in a complex IT environment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases; experience with SQL Server Management Studio is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience integrating CRM platforms (preferably Microsoft Dynamics) with external systems using APIs and middleware tools.
• Familiarity with enterprise data architecture, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Visio; advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience working in environments with structured development lifecycles (SDLC), including Agile methodologies.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to produce high-quality technical artifacts.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project coordination abilities.
