Convenient full-time work hours – Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with some flexibility based upon customer demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a 26’ straight truck safely and efficiently.
- Load, secure, and unload windows, doors, and millwork products.
- Plan routes to meet delivery schedules.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and arrange routine maintenance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with traffic, DOT, and FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any delivery concerns.
- Occasionally assist in the warehouse with loading, unloading, and inventory management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience operating a 26’ box truck.
- Valid KS driver’s license and a safe driving record and at least 21 years old.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and a commitment to safety (pre-employment drug test required).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and perform heavy physical work.
- Professional and positive customer-facing experience.
- 6 months working in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Familiarity with delivery paperwork such as bills of lading.
