What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Code Official position at Building Inspection Underwriters?
Seeking candidates for the following rote in the Northeast area:
Construction Code Official: This position is suited for individuals with certifications who have experience performing these services for municipalities and or third-party inspection agencies.
Inspector candidates must be well versed in the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code (UCC), perform plan review of construction documents, inspect construction, administer and enforce codes and regulations. Multiple UCC certifications are required in either commercial and or residential disciplines. Commercial certifications are preferred.
All candidates must possess computer skills and the ability to organize and manage their priorities. Applicants must also demonstrate the ability to maintain professional working relationships with Building Inspection Underwriters colleagues and customers. Additionally, applicants must have the ability to work remotely as well as travel to and inspect construction sites.
