We're currently hiring for positions installing low voltage systems (voice & data infrastructure and AV systems) in the Baltimore & D.C. Metro area.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of low voltage communication cabling systems – consisting of copper, fiber optics, coaxial cables, and AV cabling within new commercial construction and occupied office space.
- Build‐out of telecommunication closets to include equipment racks, cabinets, ladder racking systems, patch panels, and AV equipment & devices.
- Testing, labeling, and certification of new cable installations and AV equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum two (2) years. experience installing low voltage communication cabling systems in commercial and government facilities.
- Proficient in installing, terminating and testing copper and fiber cables.
- Professional, team-oriented work ethic; willingness to learn.
- Adherence to regular attendance and normal schedule hours; willing to work overtime, often on short notice.
- Familiarity and the ability to work with various hand tools.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 30 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation to travel between client job sites in and around the D.C. Metro area.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment screening process that includes a background investigation, drug screen, and acceptable driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Due to client requirements, US citizenship is required.
- Monday to Friday (start times as early as 4 a.m.)
- Flexible Schedule based on business need.
- Overtime based on business need.
- Weekends based on business need.
- Valid Driver's License (Required) & reliable transportation
