Building Enclosure Associates LLC (BEA) is seeking a Project Manager with 5 or more years of industry experience to join our diverse and dynamic team at our offices located in the Charlestown Navy Yard, Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Perform forensic investigations, condition assessments, and construction administration, including documenting distress, performance evaluation, diagnostic field testing and related work.
- Prepare construction documents including specifications and drawings.
- Review of submittals and shop drawings.
- Perform site observations of construction work in progress and prepare field reports.
- Prepare written reports, construction documents, repair design details and project specifications,
Qualifications / Competencies:
- Professional registration a plus but not required.
- Five or more years of relevant industry experience, with a demonstrated interest in the detailing, construction, investigation, and restoration of various structures, building enclosure systems (walls, windows and roofing), and construction materials.
- Have an understanding of the principles of thermal, air, and moisture control within building envelope materials, assemblies, and their interfaces.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in architecture, architectural engineering, civil engineering, or a related field
- Team player attitude with a willingness to take on various responsibilities while maintaining a high standard of excellence, integrity, and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, technical, written, and verbal communication skills
Compensation:
BEA offers a robust, total compensation structure composed of base salary and incentive pay and benefits:
- Base salary is determined through consideration of a candidate’s qualifications,
- Employees receive total annual compensation including bonuses based on personal and company performance, typically resulting in above-market total compensation.
Salary : $75,000 - $120,000
