What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Detailer position at Building Crafts?
Summary of Position:
The equipment detailer position requires pressure washing all equipment in their entirety in a timely and safe manner.
This position would require an independent and detailed orientated person. The equipment detailer will be in charge of the day-to day cleaning of all equipment and will eventually take on more of a role of inspections of the equipment after they are cleaned as well.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pressure wash equipment
- Vacuum cab out and clean glass
- Cleaning wash area routinely
- Inspecting machines after equipment is cleaned
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Forklift experience
- Clean DMV record
- Good communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail orientated
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to perform physical labor
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
- Prolonged periods of standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to safely work with sharp tools and/or power equipment.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
- The noise level in the work environment usually is moderate to loud
- Continually required to talk and hear
- Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
