Concrete construction company in far SW Houston (Richmond/Rosenberg) is looking for a staff accountant to join our team.
Position : Responsible for preparing and maintaining the financial records of 2 or more companies by accurately recording the day to day financial transactions and reconciling the activity. This position is a Monday - Friday, 8 - 5. It is not a remote position.

Position : Responsible for preparing and maintaining the financial records of 2 or more companies by accurately recording the day to day financial transactions and reconciling the activity. This position is a Monday - Friday, 8 - 5. It is not a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Cash Management - record intercompany transfers and wires
- Monthly Intercompany billings and reconciliation
- Other Monthly G/L Reconciliations
- Weekly Payroll Billings
- Assist with out of town housing for employees
- Inventory
- Filing
- 1099's
- Special Projects
- 401K
- Health Insurance – 100% paid by employer for employee
- Other Insurances (Optical, Dental and Life) available at employee's cost.

- Accounting 4-year degree
- Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.
- Knowledge of data management and financial data analysis.
- Experience with Excel Spreadsheets and Microsoft Windows.
- Vista software and QB knowledge is a plus.
- Job Cost Accounting a plus.
- 1 year experience and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality of records, time management & attention to detail is a must.
