We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, adaptable, and capable of excelling in a team environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth production processes and maintaining high-quality standards. The role requires a strong character, the ability to multi-task, and a keen attention to detail. Experience with welding (Mig) and blueprint reading is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute Production Tasks: Perform routine production processes to ensure smooth operation and achieve production targets.
- Conduct Inspections: Regularly inspect equipment and processes to identify potential issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Complete Training: Participate in company-supplied training programs to stay updated on best practices and enhance skills.
- Maintain Records: Accurately document production-related data to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with associates to meet production goals, promoting a team-oriented work environment.
- Coordinate with Supervisors and Engineers: Partner with production supervisors and engineering teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with Equipment: Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and machinery.
- Maintain Work Area: Keep the work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized for efficiency and safety.
- Engage in Improvement Initiatives: Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance production processes and overall efficiency.
- Adhere to Policies: Follow company policies and procedures, contributing to a positive and compliant work environment.
- Perform Additional Duties: Undertake other tasks as required by the Supervisor or Plant Manager to support production operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven work history in production or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Experience with or willingness to learn Forklift and Hoist operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, operation standards, and work instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and tasks as required.
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry preferred.

2nd Shift: Monday thru Thursday 2:30pm - 1:00am
