Job Highlights
Position: Floortime Player (Part-Time)
Schedule: Flexible — primarily weekday afternoons/evenings, with optional weekends
Location: In-home sessions (clients matched close to you)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
Key Responsibilities
· Implement 1:1 play-based sessions using the DIR Floortime approach to support emotional and developmental growth
· Tailor interactions and strategies to align with each child’s unique strengths, interests, and developmental level
· Take session notes using your phone or tablet and provide updates on progress
· Collaborate with experienced supervisors and receive ongoing guidance
Qualifications
· DIR Floortime Basic Certification, or willingness to complete training upon hire
· Experience working with children, preferably those with autism, developmental delays, or sensory needs
· Basic knowledge of child development and relationship-based intervention methods
· Strong communication skills for working with families and team members
· Reliable transportation
· Access to a functioning phone or tablet for session documentation
Preferred (but not required):
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, child development, or related field
- Experience with DIR Floortime
