Day-to-day tasks include conducting evaluations, implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with other therapy disciplines and caregivers. Qualifications
- Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated skills in assessing functional abilities, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including speech, physical therapy, nutrition, and behavior support professionals.
- Strong documentation and time-management skills, including accurate recordkeeping and adherence to scheduling and reporting expectations.
- Effective communication skills with clients, families, and caregivers, with a commitment to person-centered, culturally responsive care.
- Experience or strong interest in serving individuals with disabilities across various age ranges; pediatric experience is a plus.
- CPR/First Aid certification and familiarity with safety protocols in clinical or community settings preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Arlington, TX, including occasional flexibility in hours to meet client and program needs.
