Pediatric Speech Pathologist/CF

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work primarily with pediatric patients, providing assessments and therapy to improve communication skills and address speech-related challenges. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to create individualized treatment plans that cater to each patient's unique needs.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities.
• Develop and implement effective speech therapy programs tailored for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Educate families on strategies to support their child's speech development in the clinic setting. Potentially mornings 2x a week at ABA center.
• Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Experience

• A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field is required.
• CFs welcome to apply
• Feeding experience preferred
• AAC experience preferred
• Knowledgeable or willing to learn about Natural Language Acquisition/GLP
• Strong parent education skills
• Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
