Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum in various subjects, including math and physical education
- Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for children
- Lead and supervise a classroom of children, ensuring their well-being and promoting positive behavior
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Conduct assessments to track children's progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's development and progress
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques to support children with behavioral health needs
- Ensure compliance with all daycare regulations and child welfare standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a daycare or early childhood education setting
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in teaching
- Experience working with children with behavioral health needs is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
