Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Floater to join our educational team. As a floater, you will work wherever help is needed for the day. This employee must be comfortable working with all ages from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. As a floater, you will assist teachers with following daily schedule, potty breaks, lunch breaks, planning periods, child engagement as well as assisting with room and bathroom cleanliness. You will also be subbing in classrooms whenever the teacher is out.
Duties
- Implementing lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and abilities, including special education needs.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their growth in childhood development and behavior management.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues regarding student progress and classroom management strategies
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working with children in educational settings, such as childcare or preschool environments.
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with students, parents, and staff.
