Concrete Laborer and Finishers

Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and skilled Concrete Laborers and Finishers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing a variety of concrete-related tasks, from pouring and finishing to formwork and rebar installation. Your expertise will help bring construction projects to life, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an engaging environment where your hands-on skills and construction knowledge will directly contribute to the successful completion of diverse building initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concrete forms and set up formwork structures according to detailed blueprints and schematics
• Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently for pouring and finishing concrete
• Install rebar, metal studs, and other reinforcement materials to ensure structural integrity
• Execute precise concrete finishing techniques, including smoothing, troweling, and caulking for a polished surface
• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to meet project specifications
• Perform heavy lifting and material handling while adhering to construction safety regulations
• Conduct concrete cutting, grinding, and restoration work as needed on various projects such as renovations or restorations

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, equipment operation, and concrete machinery
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for accurate project execution
• Experience with construction estimating processes for material needs and project timelines
• Skilled in concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and related masonry techniques
• Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment at all times
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and perform heavy lifting safely
• Familiarity with rebar installation, steel framing, metal stud framing, plastering, stucco application, roofing basics, caulking, trim carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, welding, masonry work, concrete pumping and cutting techniques
• Experience working on diverse construction projects including commercial buildings, renovations, restorations or new builds
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical specifications accurately for precise work execution
