Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing custom cabinets and related woodwork, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within a dynamic construction and manufacturing environment, utilizing a broad range of carpentry skills and tools.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately produce cabinetry and wood components.
- Cut, shape, assemble, and install cabinets using hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery as required.
- Measure and mark materials precisely for fabrication and installation.
- Perform door hanging, hardware installation, and other related tasks to ensure proper fit and finish.
- Utilize estimating skills to assist in project planning and material procurement.
- Handle heavy lifting safely during material handling and installation processes.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment by following safety protocols on the construction site.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or cabinetry fabrication is required.
- Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, shop drawing interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques is essential.
- Experience with hardware installation, door hanging, drawer fronts, guides, pulls and knobs.
