Cabinet Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cabinetry installation, carpentry, and working on construction sites. This role involves installing cabinets, fixtures, and related components with precision and adherence to project specifications. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and various construction techniques to ensure high-quality results in residential or commercial projects.

Duties

• Install cabinets, countertops, and related fixtures according to blueprints and schematics
• Measure and mark installation points accurately using hand tools and power tools
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and secure fastening of cabinetry
• Assist with framing, drywall preparation, and finishing as needed
• Use caulking, sealing, and finishing techniques to ensure a professional appearance
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other trades to meet project deadlines
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
• Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely during installation processes
• Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical instructions to execute installations correctly

Skills

• Proven experience in cabinet installation or related carpentry work
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
• Experience with trim carpentry, framing, drywall finishing, and fixture installation
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards
• Knowledge of other trades such as plumbing, electrical work, masonry, or roofing is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise installations
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
