Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Load Builder located at our Smithfield, RI location. The Load Builder will be responsible for accurately assembling and preparing orders for delivery or customer pick-up. Daily responsibilities include reading customer invoices, gathering and organizing materials, loading delivery vehicles, and ensuring orders are complete and safely secured. The Load Builder will work closely with warehouse and delivery teams to maintain efficiency and accuracy while adhering to all company safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials handling, order assembly, and inventory management
• Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and supplies is preferred
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and operate material handling equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
• Preparedness to work in an active, fast-paced environment, including outdoor conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role or in the construction/lumber industry is a plus
