Coordinates the controlling, administration and maintaining inventory SKU databases, by performing the following duties:

PURPOSE
Coordinates the controlling, administration and maintaining inventory SKU databases, by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Enters SKU’s into the multiple ERP inventory databases received from inter-company requisitions and/or Inventory Control SharePoint site.
- Audits SKU requests for accuracy (i.e., item #, description, conversion factor, unit of measure and cost.) Data varies by ERP.
- Assigns proper codes, classifications, GL info, inventory sequencing and purchasing details. Data varies by ERP.
- Works directly with location personnel, to assist in problem resolution, recommendations and general customer service issues.
- Periodically runs inventory audits to identify problems (duplicate items, insufficient or incorrect data).
- Reports maintenance issues, as necessary.
- May assist in inventory file transfer and inventory mapping for conversions.
- Compares nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of SKU requisitions.
- Assists in auditing for unused items.
- Other duties as assigned.
