Builders Fence Company is looking to hire a dependable CDL Class A driver based in Tacoma to handle a mix of long-haul and local deliveries throughout the West Coast. These hauls are typically 2-4 days in duration and typically during the week. This hybrid role offers a steady schedule with variety - some overnight hauls, some regional or same-day routes - working directly with our contractor customers and distribution yards.

What You Will Do
Operate a Class A tractor-trailer delivering fencing materials to contractor job sites and distribution yards.
Flat Bed - Manual Transmission
Load trucks with a focus on safety, load security, and balanced weight distribution.
Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers to stay on schedule.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs.
Represent the company with professionalism while taking an active, hands-on role in preparing loads; this is not a behind-the-wheel-only position.
What We Are Looking For
Valid CDL Class A license (while licensed to pull double trailers).
Strong driving record - free of recent violations and suspensions.
2 years of experience preferred with both long-haul and local deliveries.
Familiar with DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Punctual, professional, and respectful in conduct and communications.
