BCE is looking for an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to join
the team initially as a contractor. This hybrid opportunity offers flexible hours, requires
just one to two days per week in the office, and includes travel across company
sites—providing a dynamic role with both autonomy and meaningful impact.
The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager plays a key role in shaping and
leading BCE’s environmental, health, and safety strategy across BCE and Windham
Materials.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will further develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that support regulatory compliance, strengthen workplace safety, and advance sustainability efforts. The role also oversees all EHS programs, leads risk assessments, and partners with employees and leadership to deliver effective training and reduce workplace hazards. In addition to developing and/or updating and implementing EH&S policies at BCE, this role will be the primary contact for all regulatory agencies and inspection requests for all BCE and Windham Material sites. The role is responsible for being the on-site leader (at any BCE or Windham Material locations) for all inspections (with agency representatives) and coordinating all respective follow-ups.
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in EH&S management or similar role
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) and other relevant regulations.
- While a hybrid role, travel between CT BCE and Windham Material sites is required as needed.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
