Position Overview: 

The Financial Analyst II plays a key role in driving business performance through financial analysis, operational insights, and strategic decision support. This position is primarily responsible for evaluating performance across departments, identifying trends and opportunities, and delivering actionable recommendations to improve processes and profitability.

 

The ideal candidate is analytical, resourceful, collaborative, and proactive, with a strong ability to translate data into meaningful business insights in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses comparing budget, forecast, prior period, and actual results




• Partner with management and executive leadership to support monthly financial review meetings




• Analyze profitability across product lines, brands, and operational processes




• Develop budgeting templates and support business leaders throughout the budgeting process




• Identify financial and operational issues, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions or mitigation strategies.




• Support strategic initiatives and complete special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical field




• Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders and influence decision-making




• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn new software applications




• Strong analytical skills with a passion for data analysis and problem-solving




• Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills




• Experience developing annual budgets, preferably within a manufacturing environment




• Ability to work independently, proactively identify issues, and present recommendations to senior leadership




• Self-motivated with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment




• Prior experience in financial, operational, and/or statistical analysis




• Experience with NetSuite required




• Must reside in Texas and be available for hybrid/in-office work
