Bearhouse Worker I - Full-Time – Warehouse
Following direction from the Warehouse supervisor and lead, the Bearhouse Worker I is responsible for palletizing cartons and using a radio frequency scanner with the purpose either to receive cartons into the Bearhouse or ship cartons to the stores.
Key responsibilities include:
- Shipping: Physically remove cartons off the shipping lines and stack pallets according to location. Using RF scanner, sort cartons onto pallets and pallets to shipping lanes.
- Receiving: Unload cartons by hand of containers and sort them into different staging locations. Place labels on cartons and scan them into the system to be placed into locations by forklift operators.
- Work in other departments (Web, etc.) as needed.
- Complete additional duties as assigned based on business needs.
- Qualifications include:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or a GED certificate.
- Entry level.
- Preferred level of experience: 1-2 prior years distribution/warehouse or logistics experience.
- Ability to stand/walk/sit/talk/hear 8 hours or more per day. Ability to lift or move 50 lbs. frequently. Ability to climb stairs several times a day. Ability to use hands, fingers, reach with arms, stoop, kneel and bend. Manual dexterity required. Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled facility. Must be available to work occasional overtime throughout the week/weekend and holidays as needed.

- Ability to use RF equipment and walkie-talkies; previous RF equipment experience preferred.

Schedule:
Full-time Monday-Friday. 1st shift or 2nd shift
Salary : $21,900 - $27,700
