Job Description
Are you a people-first professional with a knack for spotting talent and building strong teams? Bugs Beware Pest Control is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us grow our field sales force - starting with our Door-to-Door Sales Summer Internship Program.
This is a high-impact role where you'll shape the future of our team by identifying, attracting, and onboarding top-tier candidates, especially from college campuses and local communities.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified sales interns and field staff
- Source, screen, and recruit candidates for door-to-door sales internships and field roles
- Build relationships with college career centers, student organizations, and local job boards
- Source candidates through online platforms, referrals, and in-person outreach
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring logistics
- Represent Bugs Beware at job fairs, campus events, and community hiring events
- Collaborate with leadership to forecast staffing needs and refine hiring processes
- Collaborate with leadership to establish Sales Incentive Rewards/Trips
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates and track recruitment metrics
What We’re Looking For
- 1 year of recruiting, HR, or sales experience (internships count!)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Experience recruiting on college campuses is a plus
