The Customer Service Coordinator handles all inbound calls, sells pest control services confidently over the phone, and manages technician routing to keep the field running smoothly. The employee must be able to communicate effectively with customers from all socio-economic backgrounds and adapt their approach to meet each customer’s needs. Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally.
- Provide accurate service information and confidently close pest control sales by phone.
- Enter customer details, service notes, and job requirements into the CRM with precision.
- Build and adjust technician routes to maximize efficiency and reduce unnecessary drive time.
- Follow up on estimates, missed calls, reschedules, and reminders to maintain a full schedule.
- Assist customers with billing questions, scheduling adjustments, and general support needs.
- Collect payments from customers by phone or through approved systems, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Assist with inventory control, including tracking stock levels, logging product movement, and communicating shortages.
- Support day-to-day operations of the retail chemical sales store, including customer assistance, product knowledge, and basic sales transactions.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of all services and standards provided by BugMan Pest Services LLC.
- Communicate urgent customer concerns, service issues, or schedule conflicts to management quickly.
Qualifications
- Strong phone presence and ability to close sales confidently.
- Previous experience in customer service, phone sales, dispatching, or scheduling preferred.
- Candidate must possess working knowledge of the local region, including major streets, highways, neighborhoods, landmarks, and commonly traveled routes.
- Excellent multitasking, organization, and quick problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using CRM and scheduling software.
- Ability to read a map and plan efficient routes based on map data.
- Ability to stay calm, patient, and professional with all customers, regardless of background or temperament.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
- Working mobile phone with text capability required.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced service operation with constant coordination between office and field staff.
- Involves interaction with customers both over the phone and at the retail counter.
