What You Will Do

The Warehouse Groundsman position is a vital part of our warehouse operation. In this role, you are the backbone of the processing floor—think of it like a bar back supporting bartenders. You will ensure that Processors have everything they need to maintain peak productivity by keeping their stations stocked, organized, and running smoothly at all times.

Requirements

• Deliver pallets of unprocessed merchandise to Processor stations, ensuring a continuous flow of work at all times
• Open boxes and stage product for Processors to inspect and scan
• Perform pre-inspection of incoming merchandise for obvious damage or unsellable items before delivering to Processors
• Move completed pallets out of processing stations, shrink wrap them, and stage for loading onto retail trucks
• Monitor and manage your assigned group of Processors’ workflow to meet overall production targets
• Build secure, organized pallets for safe transport
• Work in a fast-paced environment while remaining on your feet for 8–10 hours per day
• Be adaptable to changing priorities and volume fluctuations with a high level of urgency
• Support additional team efforts when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times

Required Skills/Abilities

• Warehouse, retail, or distribution experience that includes receiving, stocking, or material handling.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, lifting, and bending (8–10 hours per shift).
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds independently; higher weight as a team lift.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize multiple Processor stations simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and quality standards.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, retail, and/or distribution experience preferred.
• Previous experience with pallet jacks, shrink wrap equipment, or material handling is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
