Position Summary
The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives that drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and strengthen customer relationships within the telecommunications sector. This leadership role oversees sales strategy, marketing campaigns, product positioning, and competitive analysis while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute a multi year sales strategy to drive revenue and market share growth.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales organization, including direct reports and cross-functional partners.
- Establish clear KPIs, forecasting models, and sales performance metrics.
- Secure and grow enterprise, wholesale, and carrier accounts.
- Negotiate major contracts, pricing agreements, and strategic partnerships.
Marketing Leadership
- Own the company’s brand, market positioning, and overall marketing strategy.
- Oversee development of marketing campaigns, digital initiatives, and demand-generation programs.
- Manage competitive intelligence and market analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities.
- Develop product marketing strategies for telecom services such as fiber, wireless, carrier, and BTB services.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all channels, including digital, print, PR, and customer communications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with customer service, engineering, operations, and finance to align offerings with market needs.
- Drive customer experience improvements and align sales/marketing initiatives with company priorities.
- Work closely with executive leadership on strategic planning and annual budgeting.
