We’re looking for a reliable, alert, and professional Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate takes a proactive approach to safety, using strong observational skills, sound judgment, and effective response techniques to prevent incidents and handle emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor assigned areas to maintain safety and security.
- Operate and observe CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to alarms, incidents, or emergencies in line with established procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and report potential security risks or breaches.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when needed during emergencies.
- De-escalate situations and resolve conflicts using proven conflict management techniques.
- Work with law enforcement as needed for incident reporting and investigations.
- Support loss prevention efforts to safeguard company property and assets.
- Accurately document daily activities, incidents, and security observations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention strategies is a plus.
- Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
